Q: When does the coach need a coach?

A: When it's time to do better.

So, I hired a consultant to help me help you, better.  I needed to have him shake me and get me to think.

Then, I did the unthinkable.  I went through a competitors program.   

The payoff:  New products.  New offers.  More skin in the game.  All benefitting your job search.

I am 66 years old and cannot get a decent job. I do well on phone interviews but when it comes time for the face to face, I am done. Obviously nothing is said about age, but I feel that it is the issue.
How can I get past the age thing?
I was an AVP and making 6 figures. An interim president terminated me even though I just had a great review, bonus and raise. They even took my stock options.
Can you help me?

Michael,

1. you may need to consultant a labor attorney.

2. yes, you can combat ageism. The reason you aren't getting traction is probably not a blanket age issue. It's probably more about value and audience.

I recently was hired (6 months ago) by a developer to do contracts administration. The manager that hired me had only been there 3 months prior to me and LOVED my resume. The end of November she terminated me with some lame reasons about not being quite up to par even though everyone else praised me constantly for my great work?? She unfairly took my prior quarter's bonus, took my job right before the holidays and left me with a short term job on my resume which now makes me look bad. :( Can you help?
