We are seeking a marketing expert who is a strategic thinker, passionate about marketing and has strong B2B marketing generalist skills. In this critical and highly visible role you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, and interact with sales, manufacturing, and senior management. As a Marketing Director, you will be responsible for growing the JuiceBar Brand, attracting qualified leads and creating impactful marketing communications.
Your essential responsibilities will consist of three primary categories: Brand Building, Lead Generation, and Marketing Communications.
Brand Building
  • Creative thinker who can imagine ways to increase our brand presence.
  • Reach out to the media with pitches, as relevant.  Write monthly articles for the media such as Forbes.com. 
  • Support efforts to build the brand such as producing relevant content (blogs, press releases, articles for newsletter.)
  • Conceive and create opportunities to build awareness of the JuiceBar brand such as gathering customer testimonials and case studies and sharing them broadly on social media. 
  • Help manage new website with creative developer (wireframes, content, branding) and manage ongoing updates to content.  
  • Measure Google (and other) Analytics dashboard(s) for insight into our customers, prospects, and audience. Include this data in KPI reports.
Lead Generation
  • Design, construct, and manage cold email campaigns in partnership with JuiceBar’ s Marketing Partner Surge.ly
  • Create one-off marketing materials as requested by the sales team working with JuiceBar’ s design partners.
  • Measure, Track and Report all leads and opportunities shared with sales, including data in KPI reports.
  • Create email templates for sales use in campaigns and the sales process.
  • Create digital content with agencies. 
  • Create drip campaigns for past customers and lost/abandoned deals in the pipeline.
  • Create Webinar visual and written content, manage invites, attendees, and associated communications.
Marketing Communications
  • Create monthly JuicyBites Newsletters, using new articles and content, and working with JuiceBar partners to publish an associated landing page.
  • Maintain a marketing calendar for all posts, newsletters, webinars, press releases and more.
  • Press Releases: Work with the CMO, create and publish press releases to the website and social media.
  • Share with JuiceBar team of important marketing events and posts in advance to encourage employee engagement and visibility and ensure awareness of market activity. 
  • Ensure daily social media posts on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter; and measure and report followers, engagement, and conversions, working with additional marketing support.
  • Ensure collateral is kept up to date with the latest branding, logos, and taglines.
  • Manage collateral creation as requested by the Marketing, Sales, and other departments, working with JuiceBar’ s design partners.
  • Update the company Intranet with the latest versions of all collateral, employee resources, and internal communications.
  • Produce weekly and Monthly Marketing KPI reports for the senior management, highlighting important metrics and seeking feedback.
 
Skills:
  • B2B digital marketing expertise required; Consumer marketing skills in addition to B2B a plus. 
  • SEO and PPC Advertising experience required.
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite and G Suite
  • Experience with HTML/CSS, CRM sales tools similar to Salesforce 
  • Photoshop/Illustrator a plus 
  • Competent with Mailchimp and Hootsuite
  • Able to Implement digital marketing campaigns with trackable goals and KPIs.
  • Experience with A/B testing, messaging, and post-campaign analysis
  • Experience with digital marketing advertising platforms
  • Strong organizational and planning skills. 
  • Excellent copywriting skills and ability to write stories. 
  • Ability to work autonomously. 
  • Experience managing people and outside agencies/freelancers.
  • Knowledge of Electric Vehicle industry a plus; interest in sustainability a must 
 
Preference is for candidate in Northeast (CT/NY metro area), but will consider all candidates.

Solomon Community Solar is a consumer marketing agency that creates marketing strategies targeting consumers on behalf of our clients. We are growing nationally, acquiring and servicing new members for solar farms in New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Maryland. Our mission is to bring the benefits of renewable energy – environmental and savings -- to everyone. Our management team built one of the largest retail energy businesses in the US.  Now they are applying their skill sets to clean energy, changing the world one utility account at a time.
Solomon Community Solar seeks a full-time marketing leader with broad general marketing experience, including engagement and acquisitions marketing, to work in our executive offices in Norwalk, CT, in the famed fintech and energy trading corridor of Fairfield County, one hour by train from New York City.  We are growing and hiring during the Covid19 crisis, working from home until it’s safe to return to our offices in historic South Norwalk, 50 feet off trendy Washington Street.
 
Core Job Accountabilities:
·       This role will primarily focus on acquiring and engaging customers across all channels to drive new enrollments and create memorable engagement marketing programs that drive loyalty. 
·       Launch, manage, track and report on acquisitions and engagement marketing initiatives.
·       Lead customer acquisitions through direct mail, digital channels (including social media, website and email campaigns), and direct sales agents.  Lead digital marketing campaigns including search, social, video with digital agency. Improve key conversion funnels to unlock user growth, subscription growth, and revenue growth.
·       Spearhead engagement marketing to improve customer engagement, retention and loyalty throughout the customer journey. Develop a creative and cohesive engagement marketing strategy and execute programs to keep customers engaged (and ‘wowed’) after they become members.
·       Manage external agencies to execute and optimize programs.   
·       Use data, customer insights, and usability best practices to identify and inform prioritization of marketing programs. 
·       Work with Analytics team to push the evolution of our analytics to support growth.
·       Partner with marketing operations to improve conversion rates.  
·       Be a hands-on contributor. You're comfortable writing copy & creative briefs, and diving into the details of the data.
·       Manage the direct mail team to improve all efforts across channels and drive top-line growth
·       Work closely with Chief Marketing Officer for project deployment and implementation of new programs, developers (aka clients) and processes, cross checking with functional experts for accuracy.  Ensure all projects are on time. Use tools to simplify processes for internal management.  
·       Take the time and care to understand every facet of the business
·       Must be able to look for efficiencies, yet still achieve success
 
REQUIREMENTS:
·       Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
·       7+ years experience in consumer engagement and acquisitions marketing.  
·       Skill set includes strategic thinking, ability to create marketing plans and execute direct mail, email and digital marketing programs. Writing skills required. 
·       Equal parts strategic thinker and hands-on ”do-er” and builder
·       Experience working in a cross-functional role/organization
·       Ability to apply experience to continuously improve marketing results, and processes
·       Influencing without authority
·       Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams 
·       Strong organizational skills are required
