Having an unbiased expert to be accountable to was instrumental in persevering and keeping a positive attitude. Sometimes I felt confident, but other times I did not think I would have success. I even asked Adam if he thought I would find a great new role. (What do you think he said…?) One week before Christmas, I found myself with 2 great offers, and a difficult decision as to which one to choose. Ultimately, I selected a company and a role which I believe fulfills my career aspirations.
I plan to continue to execute the networking strategies which I learned from Adam, and I pay it back and forward to others in their job search.
So, I end the year with a W2 from a new company, and I will start the new year as a senior leader helping to grow a fabulous FinTech start-up.
